Warp and Weft

When I arrived at the workshop this morning I was surprised I still wanted to do lines, so that is where I began. This time I focused on the relationship between the warp and weft in weaving. I tried to keep the warp lines straight and weft lines I looking like the threads were snagging and bunched up.  This idea was inspired by the photo (below) of Lenore Tawney posing behind her weaving. I like the empty spaces she creates in her weavings.
