Third Interview

Today I feel tremendously greatful to have interviewed Genevieve Daily, a Santa Cruz mixed media artist who uses photography, printing, painting, textiles and many other things in her art creations. I am reallly enjoying the documentry project. It feels like a blessing. Artists need to talk about their work and it is so satisfying to create space and time for this to happen. I am learing alot from each of the women artists and feel energized by their creative spirit. So far all have had a dedicated art space. Yes, I do as well, but not in the same way. My space is a walkway to get from the kitchen to the laundry room. Every wall has a door or window in it. Not complaing!!!!!!! Just thinking I want to find a place to work that is more contained and has wall space to make a mess and work larger. This can happen in time. I think it is important.
