Dipping

Today I dipped my toes into the creative process working on a new geometrical drawing. I started to get very detailed and precise but the paper I was working on had sort of a range of values from light to dark. This did not work well with all the details and it just sort of started to look messy. I washed over it with some paint to start again. The second image is how it sits presently.
