Texture

These pictures are made with water color pencil on painted black gesso pages of an old book. I like the surface texture.

The Documentary Class met this morning. I learned some new things about the editing program which will be very helpful moving forward.

Tonight I worked on making little puppets for a posible animation to include in the documentary. I am holing the camera while Judy and Isabelle dance around by the beach. The photo below is what it sort of might look like. I made some previous little puppets you might recall seeing. The image at the very bottom has those characters. I am not sure which I like best, or which set goes best with the 8mm footage. If I use the originals I will need to do some repairs as parts have gone missing or broken off. As I look at them I think i like the roughness of the ones at the bottom.
