Today I began making a stage set up for the next Dragon Frame exercise focusing on cinematography.

I worked on this creating the main figure as well. My focus on this one is dramatic lighting and camera angles. I will build a story around the shot list, which is backwards but that's okay.

Here are some ideas.

Do a horizontal pan

An over the shoulder looking down at someting

A shot looking up

The thorny wire and branches in front of figure casting a shadow

Diagonal to show distortion

Wide shot -position figure in larger environment off to left

Full shot- subject from feet to head, center stage

Medium shot

Medium close up shot- mid chest up to the head

Close up eye level, full face

Extreme close up -eyes

Insert shot -some part that is needed for emphasis of the narrative

The story will be someting about the arms attaching to the body. I will have a second figure or I might just use a large mask.

Here is a practice sequence.
