Above is an image of the hearts I photographed to create the spinning heart.

Yeah! Today I completed the heart spin and it worked! I think I will use it in Metanoia after she gives birth to the pelvis and just before she splits in two. I plan to add another heart emerging midway and then have the two beating/spinning together in conversation, before she divides in two. Another idea came this afternoon. While the hearts spin I can have the interior of the heart animate the tree moving through the seasons or perhaps me, taking off my skin. There is so much one can do with animation. I feel like it is a great medium for me because my ideas shift and change so quickly. Stop motion slows me down and ideas can take root. In my work I truly believe all paths lead to the same root, a longing for love; to give and receive and be love.

Okay. Well the thesis took a back burner today. I did a bit of research on Bonnie, looking for books that reference cellular memory of the embryonic growth. A lot of my recollection is from the in person workshop. I have her handouts but no direct links to texts.

So much more to say but I will put a lid on the old pot for tonight. Tomorrow I will pick up some lights at De Anza to do some video at Judy's this weekend and visit with the art group in the morning. The afternoon will be devoted to research and Dragon Frame homework.

Night.
