Four Hearts

A few week ago I miscalculated the number of days Jenni and I have been documenting the creative process.  Today marks the 71st day.  This endeavor is chugging along sometimes effortlessly and other times it feels like a burden, requiring a recommitment to the goal.  Regardless, I am very glad to be able to remain steadfast regardless of the mood or distractions.  Again I am learning the value of equanimity.  Showing up each day to invite something new to come into my awareness is a powerful invitation to the universe.  Even if the end result drawing is not completely satisfying I feel the activity is growing and nurturing something under the surface out of my awareness. I have no idea why I drew the image above, four hearts connecting at the center, but I am certain it would not have been made if I didnt show up today and say yes to the creative process. I know in time the image will evolve and with it, my understanging will grow.
