Water Color Pencil on Resurfaced Old book Page.

Today I went to the library to research contemporary women artists. I am taking a workshop next week and we are asked to bring some samples of work from an artist, with the idea to find some aspects of their work that inspires, using this as a starting point for the three day process. I do not have anyone in mind but I did find a book exploring female Surrealists of the 20th century. Maybe I can find someone in there.

Now, as you may remember, I have sort of been doing a similar process with Hilma Af Kint last November. I may return to her work.

Here is another sketch. Feels like a self portrait. Not much more to say about it right now other than I like the texture.
