Today my creative process took the form of a wonderful conversation with my art friend Jenni, stop motion class, shooting some time-lapse video at a skateboard park and gathering images for a presentation of my work for the “Prompts and Parameters”class.  The course begins early tomorrow morning.  We will meet five times over five weeks. I hope it is a good experience.

I am pondering participating in a challenging adventure this summer.  It is a ten day backpacking  trip where we will be shooting and developing 16mm film movies.  The processes will be all natural, using things like coffee grounds to develop the film, an incredible once in a lifetime experience.  The only concern is the altitude, 10 to 12 thousand feet and  a five mile hike with a sixty to seventy pound pack.  Now, I have time to get stronger but I don’t know if I am fooling myself.  I will percolate and talk to the woman who is helping me with my strength training and see what she thinks.
