Pixilation

Pixilation is a stop motion technique that uses live actors as subjects. Movement is created by shooting frame by frame, making slight adjustments in the actor each time a picture is taken. I mentioned yesterday this was our first assignment. I ended up making two short videos. In the first attempt I used my hands, doing sort of magic tricks, making things disappear and reappear. I pressed the remote camera button with my right big toe.  Yoga came in handy today for sure.

The second video was Nick standing and then disappearing into the ground and reappearing a few feet away.  We had fun.

I tried drawing but was unable to make much happen.
