Panting Surfaces

Today I woke up and didn't feel great. I think I am fighting a cold. I fell asleep on the couch midday which is not normal behavior for me. Anyway I found out the screenplay asignment for the 16mm class is due today and not next Sunday. I cranked out some changes and handed it in. I decided, for this first pass, I would use only the last stanza of Bills poem, the one about planting stones. After the movie has been filmed and during the editing process we will be able to tell what lines of the poem, if any are needed. I talked with Bill about it today and he was okay with the plan. Tomorrow we are going to the filming location site to take some pictures and frame out the shots. It's strange to say movie and not video.
I worked on some surfaces for the workshop (photo above) and did a few more sketches for the cat camera story (photo below). I feel motivated to make this little animaion. Its daunting because the drawing seems hard, the chalenging perspective but if i take it one step at a time it will come together. Isabelle said my rough style of drawing add character to the animaion, so I am going to go with that. Thanks Is! It has been a good process to post this blog everyday and my friend Jenni has been sharing her process with me as well. It's inspiring to see her work and read her thoughtful writing. She has been so kind and suportive of me as well. Thanks Jenni!!!
