Nigredo State

Again, very little time spent in the studio today. It’s hard to settle and focus on creating something and at the same time work on letting go of stuff in the Garage. Clearing space is part of creating I suppose and I think I will have to simply be okay with what is happening. I didn’t have any idea why I made this little drawing and just now I looked up the phrase, “What does a corked bottle symbolize in alchemy?”
Wow there is tons of information on its meaning and I think I will study it for a few day and continue to work with the symbol.
This caught my attention first. “The Nigredo State: A tightly closed container can indicate the early stages of the "Great Work" (Nigredo), where raw materials are hidden and rotting (putrefaction) to prepare for rebirth.”
Tomorrow I will do the art practice in the morning before going out to the garage and see if that helps me focus.
So hot today!!
