Found Projects!

I spent the day editing the footage from yesterdays trip to the creek with Judy. It came together with relative ease and around 4:00 I thought it was nearly done except for sound and one or two re-do shots. Then the computer froze. By 5:45 I made a huge mistake and discarded, in the trash, something important, I dont know what exactly, but it resulted in all of my Premier projects no longer existing. Yes I emptied the trash. I found some saved copies but these are not the last saved copy which is very sad. The work from today for example, is missing the last two hours of edits. All of my other projects will have a similar problem. Tonight I am going to see what happens when I go to my last disc backup. I think I made one (hopefully) after I compleated Judy's documentary edits. Maybe I will be able to tell what was delated, causing this catastrophic problem. I am not explaining it well. Lets just say, in a nutshell, I am questioning if I want to continue making movies and investing so much time and energy into the digital format when things can just poof!!! Disappear.

Update 9:45 pm. With Nick's help the projects were found, in the cloud, under a strangely labled file. This was a huge learning day.
