Today at De Anza I developed my first roll of 35mm black and white film. It looks like 49 out of 50 pictures turned out. Really happy with the outcome. The process was complicated but the teacher had the steps broken down and posted all over the walls. The most challenging part was the darkroom, there is no light in there and I had to open up the canister, cut the film and load it onto a spool - all by feel. Next week we will make a contact sheet from the negatives and this will show which pictures are most in focus and properly exposed. From there we will select one to enlarge.
