Ka-Ching!!! Day One

Today was scheduled as a set up day, a chance to run through the lighting and work with the actor to block out the scenes. I am so happy we had time for this because to say it was bedlam is putting it mild. In a nutshell, the camera we have been assigned has only a zoom a telephoto lenz. Nearly all of my shots on the shot list cannot be filmed. This means tonight, at 10:40 I have to recreate the shot list and shooting schedule.

My whole film idea was built upon two wonderful wide shots; the whole room filled with red bags, and the outside shot where the bags attack the man. These beauties cannot be done. Above is a shot taken with my phone. You can see the floor to ceiling, super cool. This will not be posible with our camera. The woman in the foreground is part of the crew, the director of photography.
