Indigo

I worked on this drawing today.  It is on the medium size book page.  I was able to make the egg shape larger which made me happy but I wasn’t sure what to do with it.   The paper had a lot of value changes that sort of competed with the egg shape.  In the end I slathered some indigo blue with a little black and I think it settled enough for me to stop. I am not sure if it is done.  I will have a look at it tomorrow in the daylight.  The studio has challenging lighting at night when it comes to colors.

Tomorrow the art group is meeting.  It will fun to see what everyone has been up to this past month.
