I made good progress with the editing today. Just one small problem needs addressing as well as some sound and color corrections. Looks like I will have it finished by Tuesday as planned. I will be meeting with the teacher for one more hour before the class ends and I hope he can help with the flickering light on the animation.
At sunset I practiced lights out for an hour. It felt so good, very grounding and relaxing. Nick came home to a dark house and we talked on the back deck. It felt good to connect with him in this way and I think had the lights been on we would have seen less of each other.
In this little painting I attempted to directly copy Hilma's work. I tried to imagine what she was thinking and feeling while doing it. She painted in oil on canvas. Did she use a straight edge? I did a little reading to find out what the she was dipicting in the painting and discovered the word "tesseract" which is apparently is a way of visualizing the concept of time in a four-dimensional universe. I don't understand.
