Floating

I am noticing the benefits of having a daily art practice. Its not such a big deal to pick someting up and start working on it. I mentioned this a few months ago, the way I am dissolving the belief that I need a chunk of time to do the art. Nope! Today for example I worked on the Heart of the Matter animation. In the past it would have been daunting to turn toward the project after such a long break, but today there was a natural curosity and deisre to reconnect with the materials. I focused on Genevieve's puppet. I am making a revolving earth which adds up to 28 drawings for one revolution. I have drawn all 28 and now I am coloring in the oceans. The paper is green so I do not need to color in the land. I also made her a hot air balloon. The above image is Genevieve's paper doll in the balloon.
