Sorry for the slapped together image above. This little number is a place holder for the larger work I did today, edting.
The first half of the day was spent at my friend Ed's house cooking and keeping him company while his caretaker was away. He is recovering from a fairly intense lower back surgery. They opened him up from the front and back. Its going to be a long healing process but he is doing great so far.
From Ed's house I drove to De Anza, worked on editing with Ji Won and arrived home around 11. We are 85% done. The final is due on Wednesday so tomorrow is the last day we can work on it together. Hopefully Ji Won will be able to meet with me one more time. It all hinges on weather or not she can find somone to cover for her at work. Fingers crossed.
It is strange to come home late and go into the studio and make a drawing. Before doing this goal of daily art for 100 days I would never thought it possible or worthwile to work in this state of the day/exaustion. I have learned it is a valuable and beneficial action no matter how brief or how simple the drawing.
Night.
