Judy, Me, Bolex

I am excited for two rolls of film to be returned from processing. They were suppose to arrive today but it did not happen. Hopefully tomorrow I will get to see how things turned out. The first roll is from the camera Ziggy's husband Jesse gave to me, the Bell and Howel 8mm. It is the camera I used to shoot when interviewing Jenni, Vivian, Ziggy and Evelyn. The second roll, from the 16mm Bolex, has all of the stop motion for the puppets and some footage of my mom at the beach using my new birthday lens.

Today I workd on editing and made a bit of progress. I am still clinging to the first edit. Hard decisions need to be made, working up to it.

The image above is a memory of filming Judy in her back yard. It brings up a warm contented feeling of connection.
