Today I tried to make a little drawing, sort of a diagram, of seeing the world through different parts of the body. I started to think about creating my own language or vocabulary of symbols. This is a very rough sketch. I am try to show, as the eye, the symbol of awareness, lowers down into the body the relationship to the squares and triangles outside the body changes. Looking out through the "eyes of the eyes", for me, makes things feel separate and distinct from me. While looking out through the "eyes of the heart" there is no separation, and there is a feeing of oneness. It changes as I move down to the stomach and then genitals. When I try to perceive through the eyes, heart stomach and genitals, all at one time, there is a feeing of porous, alive receptivity.
