I am enjoying working with the silk tissue paper. Using the printer and mono-print process I layered the heart drawings. The image to the left is built on a heart drawing there are more than twenty sheets of silk tissue paper on top of the drawing and a photo image of a Ceiba tree pod. Below are a few more images; layered prints with the silk tissue and one more mono-print background for the eventual charcoal stop motion. Speaking of stop motion I watched some how to videos today on repositioning with Dragonframe. The application has "onion skin" which will allow me to see where I have been. Tomorrow I am going to give it a try. Writing was helpful today as well. I made a small poem about my cold feet and imagine it as the narrative to a stop motion. I do not have a clear goal for this intensive and hope I am not wasting time. Something is churning in the background of my brain and haven't discovered it yet. As soon as it becomes clear I will make a milestone sheet and asset list. In the meantime I will keep showing up with the parameters in place. Here are the other pictures.
