Day 11: Skunk Friend, Mind Hurdles

Let's start with Mind Hurdles. I leaped over um today. My brain tried to convince me to stop making this skunk video. It said it's a dumb idea, I can't draw, it's too hard to explain in pictures, it looks like crap, and many other clarifying statements of that nature. I literally had to say just do it anyway. Just get the damn charcoal out, draw and press click!!!!

I was able to shoot another third of the story. Tomorrow's goal is to complete the rough story sketch leaving Saturday for the additional pictures to connect frames and make some continuity. I reread the narrative I wrote yesterday and today I do not like it. So not sure what the sound is going to be. I really want to incorporate words, maybe a written script. That could work. Subtitles maybe?

I worked on the Dragon Frame homework - morphing clay. Here is my first attempt. I bumped the camera a few times. My set up was wonky with the two lights and camera making it difficult to reach the clay. After doing this exercise I started thinking about maybe blending the claymation into the charcoal skunk project. Hmm.

Another goal for today was to sketch out some ideas for Metanoia audio storyboard. I will do that tonight after dins. I really don't know how to do it...I have my scenes outlined...but what sort of sound? Hmm.
