Better Care

Today I painted surfaces for my next round of drawings. The base of the one on the left is two pages from an old book, turned lengthwise (10"X16'). It is complete and ready for drawing. The paintings on the right are on mineral paper. They will need a few more layers of paint, pastel ground and fabric stiffner. The end result will look something like the old book pages.

Today I did a better job with being carful about what I fed my brain in terms of news, media and sugar/wheat. I feel calmer but have been experiencing a sharp headache all day. I hope tomorrow is better.

I reached out to Donna, the woman who developed Soure Point Therapy to talk about possibly attending her workshop this Spring. I sent an email and look forward to hearing back. Turns out her husband is the person who did the artwork on the cover (yesterdays post). They wrote the book together. I wonder where all this will lead.
