Beginning Again

I visited the tree and found a pile of damp silk floss in the dirt with the seeds poking through. I feel so fortunate!!! I will use it in the video. Today was the first day of my three week intensive workshop. The plan is to work form 10 to 4 daily focusing primarily on completing the video and formulating my thesis show project. If time permits I will make stuff for the show and chip away at my thesis paper. I have created a milestone chart and asset list for the video. Today was really focused and I shot some video down by the creek. My person broke free from the fishing line and we almost parted ways for good but fortunately she snagged on some rocks. I was able to retrieve her, not with out getting wet and nearly meeting an untimely end. No more going to the creek to shoot video by myself. I left my fishing reel down there which is a bummer and hope I can find it tomorrow.

Here is a picture of the silk floss and seeds. To the untrained eye it looks like moldy dog poop.

Here is an idea for a heart cape to be included in the video perhaps, at sunset with light passing through.

The next photo is more experimentation with the idea. Most of these papers are see through.
