Base Layers

I did not do the animation today.  Harumph!  The camera is set.  I have my new beautiful 10mm lens just waiting but something holds me back from beginning again.  I may have to dive in without the wave of inspiration I had hoped would get me moving.

Procrastination was aided by painting surfaces for future sketches.  I began with old book pages and layered acrylic paint with pastel ground and fabric stiffener.  Its all about texture for me.  I like to draw on dry delicate scruffy surfaces.
