2026!

2026 starts off with another thirty days of documenting the creative process through photos and writing. I am so grateful to Jenni for her company and encouragement in this endeavor. Tonight I was zoning out, watching Reno 911, when I received some photos of her paintings from the past few days. They were incredibly inspiring as well as her commitment to follow through with doing some bit of art each day. The image above is a very quick sketch, sort of a self portrait, of how I am feeling after having family stay with us for three weeks. We had a good visit but am exhausted as I lift up my fishing pole, ready to dive back into the Deep Well, where everything emerges, the source of life.

The rain is pounding.
