Shannon Silva

The drawing on the left is by Lenore Tawney and it inspired the following two paintings. The middle photo shows brads poked into the paper with red thread woven around the brads.  On the right I drew a circle. Lenore Tawney will be the artist I will explore during the three day workshop starting Friday. I stopped by the library and found a book about her titled, Mirror of the Universe.  She is best known for her large sculptural weavings and she helped to develop the genre
