Three Eggs!

Today I had success with the pentagon and three eggs followed, presented here in the order they were created. Using a water soluble Stabilo pencil to make the second egg seemed to produce the cleanest lines. I also made two additional background paintings on the old book pages. I like making large quantities of the resurfaced book pages so they do not seem precious when I begin a drawing. I do still get attached to them though. I really like the texture and colors. Having lots of them floating around is very helpful. Below is a shot of the little characters in front of the egg - just playing around. Oh and two fun facts I discovered today. The large part of the egg is the first to emerge and there are nine eggs in the chicken at one time, each in a different stage of development.
