Did I do much today? Well if you count thinking as doing, then yes! I am trying to come up with a good project idea for the Documenty class. We have three weeks to complete something. The assignment for Saturdays class is, "Write three short ideas (about 20-25 words each) for an experimental documentary that reimagines our perception of the living world." This is such a fun invitation! Saturday we will also present our thirty second video of "bringing a plant to life with sounds"and five minute presentation of previous works to introduce ourselves. All of this feels intimidating and part of me wants to hide. I am not sure what work I should present. Below is a link to the short plant exersize. I do not think it quite follows the instructions but I had fun making it.
The above image is my version of "The Hange Woman". I pulled this card from the Tarot deck today and enjoyed its meaning. It is symbolic of fresh beginnings, taking chances and starting a new adventure. It points to carefree excitement, innocence, spontaneity and faith.
