Storyboard for Tender Foot

I met with Bill today on zoom. We bounced around ideas for a one minute screenplay to submit for the 16mm group project.  We settled on two themes;  humanity on the verge of climate crisis or a man trying to shift away from toxic masculinity.

Heavy subjects.  My charge this afternoon was to do a story board for our meeting tomorrow while he works on a poem.  I hit a wall with the images so I called Gabe  (my son) to see if he has any thoughts about the project so and he suggested a book, “The Fall” by Camus.   It is about a guy who is working through deep-seated guilt stemming from his inaction while witnessing a woman drown without attempting to save her.  The screenplay could be a retelling of “The Fall” and in place of the woman there is the climate crisis or toxic masculinity.  The  main character is unable/ unwilling to take action.

I texted Bill this evening and shared Gabes ideas. The storyboard and write-up is my take on where we might go with this screenplay.  Bill is putting together some good internal dialogue of the main character that will act as a voice over.
