Perseverance!

Today I tried to pull forward the forest from yesterday's painting (top and bottom right) It was difficult to keep it soft and light so I ended up covering the whole thing with Titan Buff (lower left). I will try working on it again tomorrow.
I started over and attempted to paint the canyon and river again. When I added the circle for the compass I became distracted and started doodling inside the sphere (middle top and bottom).
Then I had this idea in my brain of a bridge leading to a burnt forest. My plan was to draw the compass at the end of the bridge. While waiting for things to dry I started cutting up old paintings and adding them to the page (first immage at the top). This picture is the most interesting to me and I can see it would be a good one to animate.
The word Perseverance hit home for me today. Many times I stalled out, but I put it in low gear and just kept going. Its all one big learning; learning that the limitations I place on myself, about what I believe I can and cant do are not real, learning to be okay with not understanding, learning to keep trying to bring my visions into reality.
On this last note, check out the two photos below. The first is a drawing of what I saw in my brain, the seed image of Ka-ching!. Next to it is a photo of the vision turning into reality. Thats pretty cool I think! It is so important to receive and take serious the visual gifts the brain puts forward. Take them to heart. Say yes, I will try to make you even if I dont know how.
Today is the 80th day of posting my art process. You know, it has not been that dificult. I feel blessed to have had the time. The intention to make something everyday feels internally clear and right.
There are seasons, as the saying goes. I am in my making season. I wonder how much longer it will last.
