The day started early with a walk, coffee and a discussion about paint chips.  Jennifer is painting the interior of her house and asked for input.  Yoga class followed and in between I began a new drawing and figured how to do an automatic time-lapse with the Dragon Frame software.  I am happy because I was able to make my hands blur as they moves and the drawing stayed in focus.  This was done by leaving the shutter open for a longer period of time.  I love learning stuff.

I hope I can show you my experiment.  The video I tried to share yesterday never process properly so I put it in the trash.  I am uploading today's file right now. Fingers crossed. I will try posting it here.

This drawing is not done.

I am consciously working on not jumping on the train of “this art is good” or “this art is terrible”, and by extension, "I am good", "I am terrible".  When I notice the internal commentary I try to look a little below the thoughts and find a layer of sadness or hurt and if I stay a bit longer sometimes it opens up into incredible heart-cracking-open beauty.
