Today I was able to shoot all of the essential skunk scenes. Yeah!!! I have given myself enough time to go back in tomorrow and add a few more shots to show what is happening from different angels and perspectives.
I strung the last three day’s work together in one edit for your viewing, below. I included the claymation, Skunk Friend. While it confuses the story it does add a different tempo and helps the video breath a bit before we go to act three. Tomorrow I think I will try to do some claymation shots to support the story and see if I can add them in, replacing Skunk Friend. I like the way the change in materials breaks the world up into different realms and states of mind.
Last night I started the sound storyboard for Metanoia. Nick suggested I think about the sound in terms of mood, volume and intensity. This was helpful. Also, on the internet I found a list of 300 types of sound. The list expanded my vocabulary to better describe what I am trying to convey in the various scenes. Tonight I will continue with this endeavor.
