Chanterelles

Today was an errand day. Among other things, I tried to find somone over the hill to fix Nick's dad's the 35 mm film camera. I thought it would be fun to use it for my upcoming begining photography class. Unfortunately I struck out but on my way home I hiked near Lexington and found some chanterelles. Tomorrow I will make soup.

Below is a doodle drawing on top of a painting I made a few weeks ago. I like the way the stem of the mushroom found its way in there.
