Our art group met today.  Its fun to see everyone, look at work and joke around while the world seems to unravel.  People in the group are easy with laughter and humble.  I enjoy seeing what they make and hearing what they care about.

I shared my recent geometric stuff and a bit about the idea of seeing from different parts of the body.  When I came home I started the drawing above.  Each section is different type of cell.  At the top are cells found in the eyes, below that is heart muscle cells then stomach cells.  At the bottom are two sections; fallopian tubes cells  (left) and penis cells (right). This drawing and the diagram from yesterday seem rudimentary or not particularly skilled.  They are sketches and ways to put my ideas in visual form.   It is a good practice to not try to make things polished and finished but a part of me wants it to look better.  Oh well.

I tried to draw a geometric eye on top of the diagram and added larger triangles and squares. The image on the right was my first attempt at the diagram. I was too embarassed to show it yesterday but today I appreciate it.
