Today I loaded the fim into the Bolex and it wen super smooothly. Very happy about that. The camera was mounted onto the steel reinforced copy stand. With the help of zipties and sandbags there is no shaking hapeing when the shutter releases. Yeah!

Nick and I made an official test chart to begin a thorough exploration of how this particular camera and film type responds to various lighting conditions. It is good to have an engineer on the team. We have four main testing variable's; location, focus, f-stop and ISO.

Today we did three rounds of testing: copy stand day, copy stand night, and kitchen night

The light meter readings on my new light meater indicate yes, the last round of film I shot was overexposed. Measurments last time had the Fstop at 5.6 and this meter is has me setting the fstop at 10. I am very excited to see how it all turns out.

Lots of learning.

I am so greatful to Nick for his help. It really takes two people to keep track of all the various nobs and dials.

Probably way more info than you needed to hear.

I tried to do a drawing tonight but my desire to lay flat and zone out has me posting photos of the camera and our test template. Art comes in many forms. Today was a technical day.
