A strang day. Time went so quickly, and now the sun is setting. The dogs are bored with me. I listend to an audiobook, "On All Fours" by Miranda July, rummaged through old art work, and tossed a buch of stuff out. It feels good to take a layer off. Food store. Chiropractor. Cooking. Eating. So strange, and now the day is coming to a close. The book really absorbed me. Not much more to say right now. I feel contained, still in the grip of someting that has my attention. But, I did have one speck of insight about the screenplay, Tender Foot. Not so much insight, as a way to solve a problem. I found out yesterday the 16mm camera we will be using does not have a zoom lens. This means the close up shots of the feet and hands, both very important, are not possible. So, here is my idea, I can save one minute of the stop motion film and make an animation of the hands and feet, using the 16mm camera. I will do a charcoal animaion, on green paper then "key" out the green so it will overlay on the actual live action movie. I see it in my head and its making me excited to do the project. I have decided if this film get chosen by the class as one that will be made I will take the roll of camera person, not director, so I can learn how to use the thing and then do my stop motion. Yeah!
